I got a hypertension attack last week and I lost three days of my life (I think). We came home on the night of Tuesday, to find that our water service was cut off. It was well past 12pm, and I've been working late nights for many weeks (... more

“We seek a connection with the cosmos. We want to count in the grand scale of things, and it turns out that we are connected…At the very heart of life on earth, the proteins that control cell chemistry and the nucleic acids that carry heredity instructions, we find these molecules to be essentially identical in all the plants and animals. An oak tree and I are of the same stuff, if you go back far enough we have a common ancestor.” Carl Sagan, Cosmos, 1980.

With pleasure! The girl's eyes are so Ibaloi! It's like staring into the eyes of Joemol (my uncle) or my sister Denise's eyes. Isis also has angles where she looks like that.

Whoa, that sounds so Jack Kerouac, so zen, for a young man named Christian.
I have a feeling things happened so you can have the courage to find your real place in the sun.
Perhaps now is the right time to go after your dreams; you can also be imprisoned by a regular paycheck ...Go up to Sagada or to Mt. Banahaw at may soul search ka...
You're still young; Remember, all things happen for a reason --
May the force be with you, Jedi! (bwahaha)

Hi Kris. I've always wanted to hug the 'taong grasas' around here in Manila-- their ranks are growing all too quickly. I have special empathy for the psychotics, especially young females because I am sure they get victimized all the time; their condition makes them so vulnerable. My daughter and I always leave food around for them, usually when they're asleep on the sidewalk. Frankly. I often wonder what God's plan for them was. The big WHY?!
